Our story starts in Boise, Idaho at the Idaho Potato Bowl in 2012. Two of our owners Justin and Scott were hanging around a tailgate area mingling with all kinds of people. At one point Justin's dad Kirk (AKA The Silver Fox) introduced the boys to one of his friends. He leans in and says "these two here are a couple fishin' sons a bitches!"
And the rest is history.
The Silver Fox wasn't wrong when he made that statement, because he's been fishing Idaho waters with Scott, Justin, and Justin's brother Jon for years.
We were founded in Idaho, so it only made sense to come up with a unique icon that could represent the FSABS brand. Hold your socks on as we introduce the Potato Trout AKA "Sprout."
